WYLDBuilding better rooms

WYLD Collective / taking shape

Bring what
you’re building.

WYLD’s women’s collective is taking shape in Dubai around the work women are building: a business, a body of work or a question that needs the right conversation. We are developing salons, working circles and shared experiences with a clear purpose, thoughtful introductions and room for different perspectives.

The first rooms are taking shapeGood questions. Thoughtful introductions.

The rooms we are developing

A reason to gather.
Space to contribute.

Different formats for different kinds of connection. Each one begins with a clear purpose.

The salon

One question.
Enough time.

A considered conversation around an idea or decision, with people who can bring different experiences to it.

The working circle

Come with
a decision.

A small group for working through a practical question, sharing knowledge and leaving with a clearer next step.

The shared experience

Connection
through doing.

A cultural or creative experience where the activity gives people a natural starting point for conversation.

Dates, places and participation details will be set as each room takes shape. An enquiry helps us understand which conversations would be useful.

Considering the whole experience

The conversation.
The atmosphere.
The details.

A useful gathering has a clear purpose and a feeling of its own. We consider both as each format takes shape.

The spirit of the collective

Ambitious. Generous. Human.

Your work comes first.

Begin with what someone has built, learned or changed. Let them name the challenges they want to discuss.

An introduction has a reason.

Make relevance clear. Respect someone’s time and give both people enough context to choose.

You choose what follows.

A good connection creates possibilities. Each person decides what to share and which next steps to take.

What women have built
is where we begin.

Our journal looks at real businesses and the decisions behind them. Achievements lead. Challenges appear in the words and context of the women who describe them.

These are public-source editorial stories, separate from participation in the collective.

A few useful questions.

Who is the WYLD Collective for?

The WYLD Collective is taking shape for women building businesses, culture and ideas in Dubai. It begins with their work and the conversations they would value. The formats being developed include salons, working circles and shared experiences, with thoughtful introductions and a clear reason for people to gather.

Are Collective dates and participation details available?

The first Collective rooms are still being developed. Dates, places and participation details will be set for each format as it takes shape. The website currently previews the approach; the enquiry and subscription forms remain in preview while the team inbox is being decided. No submission is sent or collected.

What would make a room worth your time?

Tell us about your work and the conversation you would value.
